Star Systems is proud to announce the successful launch of the Tamil Nadu Skill Registry (TNSKILL Registry), a groundbreaking digital platform we developed and powered for the state’s flagship Naan Mudhalvan skill initiative. The Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Shri Udhayanidhi Stalin, officially unveiled the portal today, marking a significant milestone in bridging the gap between education and employment.
This project is a testament to our commitment to leveraging advanced technology for social empowerment. We’ve integrated our state-of-the-art AI-enabled voice search in both Tamil and English, along with a sophisticated chatbot-based search assistance, to create an intuitive and accessible platform.
This AI-powered technology is the core of the registry, allowing industries and employers to effortlessly navigate a vast and diverse talent pool of over 13.7 lakh verified youth profiles from Engineering, Arts & Science, Diploma, and ITI streams—all at no cost.

Speaking at the launch, the Deputy Chief Minister said:
“I am happy to launch the Tamil Nadu Skill Registry under the Naan Mudhalvan initiative — a major step towards connecting education with employment. For the first time, industries can now discover our State’s skilled youth through an AI powered platform with voice and chatbot search in Tamil and English — completely free of cost. This Registry not only strengthens the bridge between education and employment but also ensures that every young person has the visibility and opportunity they deserve. I urge industries and employers to make full use of this platform to identify, engage, and recruit the best talent for their future workforce. I also appeal to our youth to regularly update their profiles, showcase their skills, and actively use this Registry to pursue opportunities. Our Dravidian Model Government is committed to empowering the youth of Tamil Nadu with meaningful opportunities, global competitiveness, and lasting growth.”

Empowering the Youth
For the youth, our platform provides a user-friendly interface for building and maintaining professional, recruiter-ready profiles. With our innovative AI profile builder, beneficiaries of the Naan Mudhalvan initiative can easily update their skills, certifications, and work experience. They can then share their profiles on platforms like WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and Twitter to enhance their visibility and career prospects.
The launch of the TNSKILL Registry solidifies Tamil Nadu’s position as a national leader in digital skilling and employment facilitation. We believe this initiative sets a national benchmark, and we are honored to have played a key role in developing a future-ready recruitment ecosystem that will help the state achieve its trillion-dollar economy vision. We look forward to seeing how our technology continues to empower the youth of Tamil Nadu, connecting them with meaningful opportunities and helping them achieve global competitiveness.
